Stockholm Vatten och Avfall order media holes for the world’s largest waste-water treatment plant

Henriksdal’s waste-water treatment plant is currently undergoing extensive upgrading and development as Stockholm Vatten and Avfall plan to double the efficiency of the plant. The project is a multi-billion project in which new cleaning technology called MBR-technology will be used and the plant will occupy an area corresponding to 260 football fields, making it the largest in the world.

In connection with the expansion, Bergteamet Raiseboring Europe has been commissioned to drill out a large number of media holes in the spring of 2019.
